Welcome to the VFX Boot Camps – 3 days of real world , hands on training. AND at the end of it, you walk away with a hard drive full of elements for you to work with.
Take our VFX Supervisor's Boot Camp for example -- you’ll learn a little about the different positions on a film set by shadowing our professional crew. You’ll learn not just what the visual effects supervisor does but you’ll learn how a camera department works. You’ll operate the Red One camera. You’ll work as a grip. You’ll yell ‘action’ as a second unit director. You’ll help plan and execute shots.
There’s no better way to learn something than to actually do it. We’re going to provide a working environment that teaches real techniques but is focused on learning. This is simply invaluable experience that will make the jargon and terminology of a film set real to you. You’ll understand the dynamics of the film set in way that few people will.
